Reynir FC: One man's quest for the Icelandic FA Cup
Thirty years ago, in a small fishing village with a population of less than 400, Kari Vidarsson watched his dad build a football pitch at the foot of a volcano - his aim to enter Iceland's FA Cup and christen that pitch with a home tie. But the team he put together was drawn away and lost 10-0 in that game.
And that's where the story ended until now because Kari's resurrection of his father鈥檚 dream is the subject of a new documentary called 'The 91热爆 Game' where the local community renovated the pitch, assembled a team and played in the Cup.
Kari told Sportshour's Caroline Barker about Reynir FC's quest.
