RAF: Women’s harassment claims ‘not listened to’
A former Lincolnshire engineer with the RAF Red Arrows has told the 91Èȱ¬ she was seen as a ‘troublemaker’ for complaining about alleged sexual harassment and bullying, after the RAF had already been made aware of concerns about unacceptable behaviour.
It’s also claimed that this kind of behaviour spreads far wider than just the Reds, with another woman telling the 91Èȱ¬ that she would not encourage any young females to join the Royal Air Force after she was the victim of sexual harassment.
To protect their identities, both women’s experiences have been voiced by actors.
The RAF insists that all complaints are independently and comprehensively investigated.
