'The Most Famous Club In The World', The Cavern Club opened its doors on 16 January 1957 in Liverpool's Mathew Street. The Beatles putting it firmly on the world鈥檚 musical map.

From this period, other artists also exploded onto the music scene such as Gerry & the Pacemakers, The Searchers, The Hollies and Cilla Black

Everyone wanted to play this iconic venue, and they did including The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Queen and Stevie Wonder.

Today The Cavern is a thriving live music venue, still attracting the big names including the return of Sir Paul McCartney.
