Hauling a lifeboat across Exmoor in 1899
To mark the 125th anniversary of the rescue of the Forrest Hall, volunteers re-enacted the carrying of the lifeboat across 13 miles of land to launch from Porlock. David Wilde is born and bred in Lynmouth and told Rick Edwards the story and how he and his son have taken part in re-enactments over the years.
