Israeli clubs are returning to action in UEFA competitions following an attack by Hamas on 7 October.

The continuing Israel-Gaza conflict has seen a number of sports paused, including football.

Maccabi Haifa face Spanish club Villarreal in the Europa League on neutral territory in Cyprus, while Maccabi Tel Aviv are away to the Ukrainian club Zorya Luhansk in the Europa Conference League with the game being played in Poland.

Josh Halickman, a sportswriter at The Jerusalem Post, tells Sport Today鈥檚 Mani Djazmi about the 鈥渕ix of emotions鈥� the players and teams will face as they return to the pitch.
