Inquiry into Ofsted after Caversham headteacher's death
MPs have been hearing suggestions from teaching unions about how to improve the OFSTED schools inspection process.
Last January the head teacher of Caversham Primary School Ruth Perry took her own life after inspectors downgraded her school to "inadequate."
Her family believes stress associated with the inspection was a major factor in her death.
However, taking evidence today, the chair of the Commons Education Committee Robin Walker explained they were looking at broader themes for improvement, rather than Ruth Perry's specific case.
