'For many people it provides an extra income and supports the local community'

June is a big month in Leicestershire's Vale of Belvoir. For six glorious weeks, the surrounding hedgerows come alive with sweet-smelling wild elderflower.

At Belvoir Fruits Fram the local community helps pick the elderflower harvest in the 60 acres that make up the plantation. For many people who take part it helps provide an extra income, as well as supporting the local community.

The farm's first bottle of Belvoir elderflower cordial was made almost 40 years ago, in the farmhouse kitchen of owner Peverel Manners.

Senior Brand Manager Jessica tells Ben Jackson about this extraordinary community harvest.
