Economic abuse: victims have new way to stop malicious payment references
References on bank payments - the messages you can attach when you send cash to an account - are, for most people, a straightforward way to let your friend know you've paid your share of a meal, or highlight a bill payment to your flatmate.

Sean Farrington talks to 'Rebecca' (not her real name), an economic abuse survivor and Nicola Sharp-Jeffs, the founder and chief executive of the charity Surviving Economic Abuse.
