Noisy rooster court dispute
A legal dispute has been ongoing in the northern Nigerian city of Kano over... a noisy rooster.
So relentless has the rooster's crowing been that the owner's neighbours complained that they couldn't sleep - bringing about a court battle.
The owner of the rooster told the court that he had bought the bird for a family feast to celebrate Good Friday.
On the programme we heard from reporter Mansur Abubakar. He told us:
"We have a lot of people staying very close to each other... One of the neighbours felt he's not going to allow this to go on. And he woke up in the morning and went to the court to complain that he has not been able to sleep because of the rooster.... it's a very interesting case."
