Out and proud? Why Hollywood's got a way to go with LGBTQ+ characters
When a queer narrative like 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' wins a Best Picture Oscar, it seems that LGBTQ+ stories are having a breakthrough moment in Hollywood.
Yet at the recent GLAAD Media Awards, the annual ceremony recognising representation of this community, concern was still voiced at the lack of transgender and non-binary characters - especially in film studio productions.
