Oxford Traffic Plan
We’ve heard a lot about how controversial plans to reduce congestion in Oxford are – Low Traffic Neighbourhoods and yet to be installed traffic filters have sparked lots of debate. But it’s not the first city to look at traffic measures like these. Ghent in Belgium introduced a similar plan in 2017 – so what were the results? And as businesses on the Cowley Road say the policies have reduced their trade, what can Oxford learn from the Belgian city? Our Political Reporter Claire Starr has been taking a look….
