Stowey Castle and Kilve Chantry saved
The medieval motte and bailey castle at Nether Stowey and 14th century ruins overlooking Bridgwater Bay have been removed from Historic Engand's Heritage at Risk Register.
The chantry was put on the register in 2000 because of the poor condition of its masonry and the lean on its south gable wall.
The castle was added in 2018 due to invasive bracken and gorse taking over the site.
Luke Knight visits both sites to hear more about their history and see the conservation work that's been carried out.
