The Shop Front Theatre in Coventry was an old fish and chip shop restaurant, once called Fishy Moore鈥檚, located on the corner of Queen Victoria Road and the bottom of City Arcade, in the city centre precinct.
In December 2009, Theatre Absolute opened the only professional theatre space of its kind in the UK. Since then it has been used by artists, dancers, writers, poets. film makers and community groups. The site of the space is marked for demolition with the new plans for City Centre South development. Theatre Absolute used the space as a base for thirteen years but will close it's doors. However Theatre Absolute will continue to create work with and in the city.
