Thousands of workers - including rail, telecoms, ports and the postal sector - are angry that the pay rises they're being offered go nowhere near to matching their rising bills.

The public are facing cancelled trains, overflowing rubbish bins, delayed deliveries and possibly worse to come, with teachers, doctors and nurses discussing possible strike action. To help explain what's going, the 91热爆's Business Correspondent, Marc Ashdown answers 5 Questions On - Why is everyone going on strike?
