"It's not Girls Aloud without Sarah"
Girls Aloud speak together for the first time since their bandmate, Sarah Harding, died of breast cancer in 2021 - and explain how they want to save lives in her name.
Girls Aloud have been speaking together for the first time about losing their bandmate, Sarah Harding, who died of breast cancer in September 2021. She was just 39.
Cheryl, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts took part in a memorial Race For Life for Sarah in London鈥檚 Hyde Park - organised by Cancer Research UK. Kimberley Walsh wasn't able to be there - but she joined the run remotely from abroad, chatting live to Nicola via Instagram.
The group want to save as many lives as possible in Sarah's name by raising awareness. They plan to use events like this one to urge people to get checked out quickly if they have any health concerns. Half of us will develop cancer at some point in our lives, and the earlier it's spotted the better our chance is of surviving.
For 5 Minutes On, Cheryl, Nadine and Nicola talk to the 91热爆's Daniel Rosney. They tell him, "It doesn't feel like Girls Aloud without Sarah" - and Cheryl tells a story about Sarah coming back to "visit" her after her death.
