"I was definitely thinking back to 1989"
A Hillsborough disaster survivor from Burton has been talking of his panic during the chaos at the recent Champions League Final in Paris.
Chris Peers has suffered with anxiety since he narrowly avoided the crush which killed 97 Liverpool supporters in 1989.
He's been telling Ian Skye his story.
France's Interior Minister has defended how police handled the Champions League final in Paris which saw some Liverpool fans being tear gassed. G茅rald Darmanin said the event could clearly have been handled better but that enough police were at the game. He apologised for "disproportionate" use of tear gas, saying that two cases had been referred to France's police watchdog. But he also said tear gas had prevented crowd crushes.
