India continues to reel under severe heatwaves, with some weeks being among the hottest in over 120 years. Weather experts say the situation will only worsen as global warming heats up the planet. But a majority of India鈥檚 workforce from the low-income community works outdoors or lives without proper shelter. For many, it has become a question of survival. WorklifeIndia鈥檚 Shubham Kishore spoke to some of them about being homeless in the heatwave.
