19 children among dead in primary school attack
Texas primary school shooting leaves 21 dead, including 19 children
Nineteen children and two adults have died in a shooting at a primary school in Texas. The eighteen-year-old gunman opened fire at Robb Elementary School – which teaches children aged seven to 10 – in the city of Uvalde. Today’s Nick Robinson hears from American reporter for the San Antonio Express-News Jacob Beltran who is based just a few blocks away from the scene of the shooting. He also speaks to Jennifer Hubbard, whose six-year-old daughter Catherine was killed at the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut in 2012. Amol Rajan asks Democrat Congressman for Texas Joaquin Castro for his reaction to this latest shooting.
