Friday night鈥檚 stacked Bellator 278 card is headlined by a women鈥檚 flyweight world title bout between reigning champion Juliana Velasquez and number two-ranked Liz Carmouche. The undefeated Velasquez will look to make the second defence of her title following a dramatic split decision win against Denise Kielholtz last July. Her opponent Carmouche is an MMA veteran and boasts a strong career record of 16 wins from 23 professional bouts. Since signing with Bellator in 2019, Carmouche has won each of her first three bouts for the promotion to earn a title shot.
