The issue of conversion therapy has become a big talking point this week.

The Government had promised to ban therapies that seek to "cure" someone's sexuality. Then it was revealed that the idea of a ban had been dropped.

Finally, it emerged that the ban was back on the agenda... but would not include therapies for transgender people.
