The government will 鈥渇ail鈥� people who voted Conservative in 2019 unless it delivers on its promise to 鈥渓evel-up鈥� the country, according to Michael Gove. Speaking to the 91热爆 in Grimsby in North East Lincolnshire this week, the Secretary of State for Levelling Up said it was 鈥渁bsolutely critical for the country鈥� and while there was no 鈥渋nstant-fix鈥� the government couldn鈥檛 afford to go slow. Tomorrow, on the 2nd February 2022, the Government will unveil plans to tackle regional inequalities, which will focus on handing power money down from Whitehall to towns and communities with the creation of more elected local leaders.
