'To be separated from my brothers was like losing the most important part of myself'
More than 12,000 children in care are separated from at least one of their siblings, according to 91热爆 research. Saskia grew up in care and was separated from her brother when she was 11-years-old, she told 5 Live Breakfast that she felt like she had lost the most important part of her life.
She was speaking on the day of the release of the 91热爆 iPlayer documentary, 'Split up in Care: life without siblings'.
