Brian Clough ‘taught me how to be a good person’
Craig Bromfield had a difficult upbringing in Sunderland, regularly missing school to beg on the streets.
Speaking with Sportshour presenter Caroline Barker, he explained how a chance encounter with Brian Clough at Seaburn Beach in the North East of England was to change his life for the better, and described how much of an influence the legendary football manager had on him.
Bromfield's story of living with the Clough family now features in a book called "Be good, Love Brian" - a title inspired by a letter he received from Brian Clough in 1984.
