China Clay is an integral part of the Cornish story, and shaped the land and communities around St Austell for more than a quarter of a century.
That heritage and history is preserved at Wheal Martyn - a clay works and museum on the outskirts of the town.
Staff there have already got a busy programme of events and activities planned for what promises to be an exciting 2022, as our weekend presenter Jack Murley found out when he paid a visit to see engagement officer Si芒n Powell.
