J.P. Bimeni and Lucinda Gosling

Music with J.P. Bimeni who's second album, 'Give Me Hope', is his first new material in three years; plus author Lucinda Gosling discusses her book 'The London Hippodrome'.

J.P. Bimeni is a descendant of the Burundian royal family. He chats to Robert and we hear a couple of tracks from his forthcoming album, 'Give Me Hope'. The album is a slice of horn heavy Afro-tinged and Stax inspired soul. Author Lucinda Gosling's latest book, 'The London Hippodrome', delves into the venue's fascinating past. Houdini, Audrey Hepburn, Julie Andrews and Judy Garland have all taken to the stage - as well as performing polar bears and plunging elephants.
