Future of historic pub under threat after noise complaint

A popular Weymouth music venue says its future is under threat - with its licence under review after a noise complaint from a local residents group.
The tenants of the Duke of Cornwall pub say they've operated within the scope of their licence and more than 2,000 have signed a petition to save the pub.
In the Licence Review report, 'Respect Weymouth' - the group behind it - state that it "isn't against live music" and acknowledges that "it's part of a long-standing culture in the town".
Dorset Council has told 91热爆 Radio Solent: "There is no view from the Licensing Enforcement Team at this moment in time" and that "as with all review processes there is a 28 day consultation period."
The consultation period closes at the end of this month. Then, the licensing sub-committee will read all of the evidence that's been submitted and the committee will make their decision on the outcome.
91热爆 Radio Solent reporter Laurence Herdman has been investigating.
