"We have had a lot of animals coming in because of lockdown" - Helen Jones from RSPCA Cornwall talks about how busy 2020 was
From chickens to puppies, kittens to ducks, there aren't many animals that the RSCPA Centre at St Columb doesn't deal with.
And that work doesn't stop just because there's a pandemic happening either! In fact, nearly 500 animals passed through the Centre in 2020 alone, making them as busy as many volunteers can remember.
And as the branch prepares to celebrate a special anniversary, it's unlikely that things are going to get any quieter.
Manager Helen Jones has been speaking to our weekend presenter Jack Murley.
