Portland mum thanks man who offered new space for her late son's memorial garden
Last summer, Emma Collins created a memorial garden on a small patch of land outside her flat for her late son Daniel, who died on a quad biking holiday in 2011.
But a few weeks ago, Emma was told she couldn't keep the garden, by the housing association which owns her flat.
Then, she received a message from a fellow Portland resident, John Hancock. They've been sharing their story with our reporter Charlotte Foot. You might find some details upsetting.
The Aster Group - which owns Emma's flat - says it's offered sincere apologies to Miss Collins for any distress caused and free use of a nearby alternative space for 12 months.
