The 91热爆 Secretary responds to one Afghan woman's request for help

The government has unveiled plans for up to twenty thousand refugees from Afghanistan to be resettled in the UK, in the wake of the Taliban takeover. The 91热爆 Secretary, Priti Patel, has said Britain will stand by those fleeing persecution and oppression.

Mishal Husain hears from a 21-year-old Afghan woman who has gone into hiding because of the Taliban's victory and then asks Priti Patel how the government plans to help people like her.

There is also deep concern and upset from many of those who served in Afghanistan about what will remain from their efforts and sacrifices over the last 20 years.

Mishal speaks to General Sir Nick Carter, the Chief of the Defence Staff, who served in Afghanistan himself.
