Sharon and Amy
At the start of the pandemic Amy became a mum of two, while Sharon was navigating the final weeks of her first pregnancy in isolation.
Amy's second daughter Elspbeth was born in January 2020, when we still didn't know what was on its way, but her plans for having a newborn while her eldest was at school were thrown out when she had to home-school at the same time.
For Sharon, she was sent home from work immediately and missed the goodbyes and baby showers. But the real heartbreak for her came when she had to introduce her son Vihaan, who was born in May 2020, to her parents on the drive.
Both had to face mental health issues alone when support and services were stopped, for Sharon it took months to even leave the house. They discuss feeling like the lockdown mums and babies will be forgotten about.
