Germany's military appoints first rabbi in 90 years
The German military has employed its first rabbi since the Nazis came to power in the 1930s. Zsolt Balla will offer pastoral care to about 300 Jewish soldiers serving in the force. Mr Balla told Newshour's James Menendez he wanted to work on rooting out anti-Semitism and other forms of hatred in the military ranks and in society.
