Is Australian wine about to get cheaper?
The UK has overtaken China as the biggest market for Australian wine. A steep rise in Chinese taxes meant producers looked to increase sales of Australian wine in Europe. Current import tariffs represent around ten pence for each bottle of wine, Winifred Robinson looks at what a tariff free trade deal might mean for the price of Australian wine.
