DRC volcano: what was the Goma evacuation like?
Tens of thousands of people in the DRC have left Goma after the provincial governor ordered ten city districts to be vacated because of fears of further eruptions from Mount Nyiragongo. Jan Egeland, from the Norwegian Refugee Council was in Goma but joined the thousands who had to leave the city following the governor's announcement over the volcano. We hear from him shortly after he crossed the border into Rwanda.
