Media offices belonging to Al Jazeera and the AFP News Agency have been blown up during an Israeli offensive against the Palestinian organisation Hamas. The move was in response to rocket attacks on Israel. Aaqil Ahmed is a Professor of Media at the University of Bolton, and gives his reaction to events.
