During these times of uncertainty and self isolation, many of us will be missing out on holidays, football games and of course, live music.

Artists all over the country have had to postpone gigs and even entire tours, including many of those from Leicester.

So how does a band or a musician manage going from being on the road to finding themselves stuck at home?

Tonight you are gonna hear from the Irish band, The Academic.

Huge in their own country, the band were hoping to make a name over here in the UK with a series of gigs this summer.

But, alas, no.
