Dr Sasa: Myanmar is at a crossroads
The special envoy to the UN representing the disbanded parliament of Myanmar has said the country, also known as Burma, is at a crossroads following the 1 February military coup.
"It's a very critical situation right now. We are at a crossroads," Dr Sasa told Hardtalk's Stephen Sackur.
"Now if we do not restore democracy and freedom the situation will push us more closer to China, more closer to Russia and also even more closer to North Korea," he said.
