Domestic Abuse: Pottery and alternative therapies helping Dorset abuse survivors
Survivors of domestic abuse in Dorset are set to receive 拢1.4 million of extra government funding to help with counselling and therapy in safe locations, such as refuges or specialist safe accommodation.
Anna Stiles lives in Sherborne, and a couple of years ago was finally freed from an abusive relationship when her ex-husband was arrested.
She's recently released a book called Gone To Pot, detailing her experience - and the hobby she turned to, to help get her through it.
91热爆 Radio Solent's Dorset Breakfast presenter Steve Harris also spoke to Helen Stephens from STARS, Sexual Trauma and Recovery Service. She told him how there's been an increase in alternative therapies, like pottery.
