Carolina Solberg became a powerful symbol of opposition to the country鈥檚 president Jair Bolsonaro and an unlikely champion of free speech after shouting 鈥楤olsonaro out鈥� at the end of a live post match interview on Brazil's most-watched sports channel last year.

Solberg鈥檚 remarks at the beach volleyball tournament in Rio de Janeiro, sparked an angry backlash with the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation, who accused her of 鈥渟taining the sport.鈥�

Solberg has since been cleared and told Sport Today's Katie Smith about the moment she found her voice. Sport Today has contacted the Brazilian volleyball confederation for their comments but are yet to receive a reply.
