The safety of quarantine hotels

UK arrivals from high risk countries will be forced to quarantine in a hotel from Monday.

Quarantine hotels are due to open on Monday morning. Anyone arriving here from a country designated as high risk will be forced to stay in one of them for 10 days under the watch of security guards. Nick Robinson speaks to Victoria Atkins, the 91热爆 Office minister for safeguarding, about the contrast between the Australian and the UK's hotel quarantine systems and safety concerns following an announcement that the Australian state of Victoria will enter lockdown for a third time to suppress an outbreak of the UK strain that is believed to have entered the community from a quarantine hotel.
