Politicians, faith leaders, and families reflect as the UK exceeds 100,000 Covid deaths
The surge in coronavirus deaths beyond 100,000 has brought a message from church leaders urging us all to reflect on what they call a terrible milestone. Today hears from two brothers who lost their father to Covid, the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, shadow health secretary Jon Ashworth, and Communities Secretary Robert Jenrick. Also, actor Rory Kinnear reads the names of listeners’ loved ones who have died of Coronavirus.
