Starmer: Why did PM overrule Patel on closing borders?
Quoting a recording of Priti Patel, the Labour leader asked the prime minister about shutting UK borders to control Covid-19.
The home secretary was heard in a recording this week to say she wanted more restrictions last March as the virus took hold.
Boris Johnson said the UK had "one of the toughest border regimes in the world".
