Weyland Mckenzie-Witter sits down with author and professor of Black Studies at Birmingham City University, Kehinde Andrews.

The pair discuss some of the key events that led to the growth of the Black Power Movement in the UK, such as the experience of West Indian migrants arriving in the UK, the influence and impact of Claudia Jones and the Notting Hill uprising in 1958.

Throughout the conversation Weyland and Kehinde will listen to archive clips and interviews from contributors to provide some wider historical context to the story of the UK Black Power Movement.
