Tracey Emin talks to Mishal Husain about her new show and her cancer treatment
The artist Tracey Emin spoke to Mishal Husain about her new show at the Royal Academy of Arts and her brush with death this year after having multiple organs removed to treat her cancer, saying, "I'm so happy to be alive because there was a strong expectation that I wouldn't make it to Christmas." She added: "I feel really, genuinely happy and I don't think I've ever been happy in my life before. I'm going to make the most of it, especially with my work." 'Tracey Emin Edvard Munch, the Loneliness of the Soul’ is at the Royal Academy of Arts in London from the 7th of December till the end of February 2022.
