Black History Month always provides a fantastic opportunity for us to recognise the outstanding contributions from all black people, both locally and nationally.
To mark the end of this special occasion 91热爆 Radio Leicester's Jimmy Carpenter caught up with Ivan Browne, Leicester's director of public health. He's the man who found himself in the middle of perhaps one of the biggest media stories of the coronavirus pandemic, the lockdown in Leicester.
The professor shares his experiences of growing up as a black man in the city.
