We often say how lucky we are to live in Cornwall - but if we're honest, we're probably all guilty of taking it a little bit for granted.

After all, how often do we actually go out to explore the county, or learn about some of the characters that make this place special?

It's why our weekend presenter Jack Murley is beginning a new feature that'll take us on trips around some familiar Cornish places and, using some fantastic rare interviews, hopefully make us see some of them in a different light.

It's called On The Doorstep - and to kick things off, Jack went out and about in Fowey.
