Google Maps has a new Covid-19 feature. You can now choose to see the current case rates in an area. Launched in more than 200 countries, the mapping feature could help people decide if they feel it is safe to travel to new areas.

MIT Technology Review reporter Charlotte Jee provides a rundown of what鈥檚 good and what鈥檚 not so good about the new feature.
