It's been saving animals from harm or suffering for nearly 200 years.
But in the era of coronavirus, the RSPCA is just the latest in a long line of charities that's having to change the way it works.
Helen Jones is the acting centre manager for the RSPCA in Cornwall - and has been telling our weekend presenter Jack Murley about how staff, volunteers and animals there are adapting to the 'new normal'.
