"I almost played it at Godlingston the other day but thought perhaps you don't do that in a graveyard!"
We've been blessed with countless funny moments from 91热爆 Sport commentators down the years. But it's nearly 30 years since one of the most hilarious cricket moments hit the airwaves.
It happened on Friday 9th August 1991 during a Test Match Special report by the late Brian Johnston in the company of Jonathan Agnew. England were taking on the West Indies - and at the the close of the 2nd day of the final test at the Oval, 'Johnners' attempted to read the TMS close of play summary in the company of 'Aggers'.
Earlier this week, 'Aggers' popped down to Godlingston near Swanage in Dorset to pay tribute to the 'old boy' as Brian Johnston was fondly known. Brian Johnston died 5th January 1994.
Etched on his grave is the following inscription: "sadly missed by all who loved him, for his kindness and humour - 'it's been a lot of fun' ".
