Belarus: Tech entrepreneur offers to financially support security officers who quit
Belarus saw a ninth day of sustained protests against President Alexander Lukashenko on Monday.
Many thousands have taken part in rallies, and the President was even booed by workers when he visited a factory.
But how sustainable are the protests? How long can workers go on strike? And how long will the army, police and KGB continue to back the President?
Belarusian tech entrepreneur Mikita Mikado now lives in Silicon Valley in the US. He explains why he has made an offer to support security personnel financially, if that's the only thing stopping them from quitting.
