Beirut explosion: Who should take responsibility?
Shock over the dockside explosion of nearly 3,000 tons of ammonium nitrate in Beirut has turned to anger against Lebanon鈥檚 political class.
Demonstrators in Beirut attacked a convoy carrying former prime minister Saad Hariri and it's been reported that of officials had warned about the danger of the ammonium nitrate being stored at the port if it wasn't moved. It seems that the public think the political elite as a whole are responsible. Member of Parliament, Alain Aoun, nephew of the president, Michel Aoun, explains the next steps in the investigation and says "profound reforms" are needed.
